Grand Opening of the India Passport & Visa Services Center in Columbus
The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) – Ohio proudly celebrates the grand opening of the India Passport and Visa Services Center in Columbus, Ohio, effective August 1, 2025. This marks a historic milestone for the Indian-American community in the region, providing convenient access to vital consular services previously only available in New York. The establishment of this center is the result of relentless advocacy by FIA Ohio in partnership with Indian diplomatic missions and VFS Global. Special appreciation is extended to Ambassador Vinay Kwatra, Consul General Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, Deputy Consul General Vishal Harsh, Consul Shruti Pandey, and the VFS Global team for their invaluable support. This achievement represents a significant step in empowering and serving the growing Indian community in Central Ohio and surrounding areas.
